What Happens After You Finish the Course?
Once you finish your hours, the Illinois Secretary of State emails you a link to download your Certificate of Completion, sent to the address you gave your course provider; you print that certificate to bring to your Driver Services appointment.

What Are the Remaining Steps to Get My License?
After the course, a first-time applicant still completes the written knowledge test, a vision screening, and the road skills test at an SOS Driver Services facility, plus payment of the applicable license fee.
These three steps are unrelated to which provider or delivery format you used for the course, as long as that provider was SOS-certified and its transmission went through.
